i had a kind of original idea

hero defence. you have 1 hero, and creeps spawn liek in a td. ill have custom abilitys made to work well against mass creeps. good idea, or bad idea? ill have a cool feature thta whn u aquire an item liek an orb, it wont take up a space in your inventory, but you will still get its bonus.

It sounds like a heros siege map.

not liek a hero sige. it has actual levels, like a tower defence. you spend money to gai nacsess to higer level shops, with better items. there will prob be 3 modes:
solo
team
tax colector

There are hero sieges with different levels of enemies like in tower defenses. But if you make custom abilities and such, it would be good.

i got the terrai ndone. 8 player, im gonan make 3 modes:
solo
cooperative
tax colector

edit: oh,. should i have them walk a zig zag maze, or all rush at once?

I think you should have them all rush at once if they are trying to attack you. But if they arent' going to attack the hero they shuold zigzag or come in a thin enough row so your hero can hit them all. Your description is too vague for me to really say what I think of the idea.

I get what you mean by that bro....

Say... You had your typical Wintermaul. But.. Instead of constructing towers to fight the oncoming waves. You had to use a hero or heroes to fight them.

It would be a neat idea.. But man would it be hard. You'd have to set it up where they could by units like footmen or guards or stuff like that... And I could see it being a really decent game then.

youll only have ur hero, but hell be able to get cool items that are powerfull
