Hi,

i finished the work on the spells and icons for my map. I tried to put everything into the w3m file with WinMPQ, but it stops when 64 files are inside. What i do wrong? Why can't i put more then 64 files into the w3m?

Please help me, i tried many things to fix it, create a new mpq and give all items of my map inside and change it into a w3m, make the original w3m greater, but nothing worked.

You couldn't figure out that yourself?
It's a CAP...
I don't know if you can go past it though.

I've always thought of CAP as roof a barrier so to speak. I had no idea it was really capasity.

Use the MPQ Embedder of WinMPQ. Its good for breaking the maximum. :)

Solution 1:

1) Start "WinMPQ".
2) Make a new MPQ (name doesnt matter) with your changed files and the !map files in your map-*.w3m! (which you have to export before).
3) Start "MPQ Embedder" (WinMPQ->Tools->MPQ Embedder).
4) Open your map (*.w3m) in "MPQ Embedder".
5) "Remove" all files in your Map.
6) "Add" your new MPQ in your map (*.w3m).
7) Enjoy your work. ;)

Solution 2 (Havent tested this yet, but I think that workx too.):

1) Start "WinMPQ".
2) Make a new MPQ (name doesnt matter) with your changed files and the !map files in your map-*.w3m! (which you have to export before).
3) Rename your new MPQ in W3M (Example: MyMap.mpq -> MyMap.w3m)
4) Enjoy your work. ;)

Haha, told you so :P.
Now, basicly everything in WC3 has limits, and almost all can be over-run somehow.
