Mods: please do not move this over to the skinning and texturing forum, i am trying to get feedback on my skins also.

I am having promblems converting images to .blp format. I have tried both the WC3 Viewer and Image Extractor but both are giving me error messages when i try to convert skins to .blp format. The Extractor just quits and the Viewer says that the file is not a valid 32 bit image. Do i need to save the skins as 32-bit? i cant find a program on my computer that will let me do this. Help please.:bgrun:

Anyway i will post the texture cards i am trying to convert. They are my first skins so they dont look real great, but its a start.:gsmile:

This is a simple skin. I used the armor technique from the amor tutorial and a simple filter for the orange glow. I need suggestions for improvement.

Yes, it has to be 32 bit format. Photoshop and Paintshop 7 both do this.

Make sure that you don't compress the skins and also that you don't make more than one alpha layer.

In psp 8 you can't get skins to work right. No matter what, it screws up the alpha channels.
