(NE) Buildings Casting Spells

I was wondering if it was possible to have some of the NE buildings (Tree of Ages, Ancient Pro, etc.) that can act as units be able to cast spells. Right now I was limiting myself to trying to get "Entangled Roots" and some of the Keeper of the Grove's spells but I'm not sure how to go about it. Any help would be appreciated.

Just base it off a normal unit or hero, then change the model to the ancient. I think you have to change the required anmiation tags though, so that it'll walk and stand instead of look rooted.

Or you could just use the regular-unit versions of the KotG spells, and give the NE building those abilities. Last time I checked, auras worked; I am not sure about others, and don't have W3 on this comp to test.

A Unit that is given the model of a Night Elf building will automatically use its uprooted animations. Just FYI.
