Making a hero

How do you make a new hero , or do you just edit a old one

Open Editer>Open Unit Editer>Right on any folder then those create custom unit.
It should be quite easy to pick it up from there.

How do you tell the editor that the unit is a hero

From my experience i don't think you can. Just base your hero off some current normal one and change the model,sound, icon and such.

just like drakes said. you cant all you can do is override the original (e.g Demon hunter under Nightelf heros) and change the model. if you create a hero from an original you will be able to reproduce it (more than 1) and there for beable to have about 50 heroes.

another words... just override the original(rename it, change model etc)
