I have found a weird thing that can delete ur map..well it wont exactly delete...but it wont be its original size which means it wont have all of his component..i was about to finish my map when this happened..i reinstalled wc3 then copied my old ''Maps'' folder cuz i had alot of things there and when i did copy my map was in it then it said Cannot copy Defence Of The Castle(my map) then i clicked no so it shouldnt copy..and somehow it did...but when it copied my map..the size was 13ko which is very weird becuause it was normally about 200 ko or more..then i opened my map and it said Invalid shadow map file so there i said WTF and realised i cant open my map anymore..so i deleted it and did all again(i must restart again cuz the first time it happened i didnt know what did it..then did it again and re-did the bug without knowing arg!!!)i dont know what did all i know is the old folder map was in C: while in D: theres warcraft... anyway just to tell you that if u copy the folder... watch out if it says unnable to copy (map name)click Cancel Sadly..i gotta restart my map again..it deleted 1 time then deleted another...lol so i gotta re-do it a 3rd time.. |

If you get Norton System Works 2003 you can tell it to save a protected copy of any file on your computer there. That way if something happens to it, it can be fully restored. Happened to me before, but not like that. |
