Guest | First time post, and Ive gots me a question. It would seem as if it would be simple, but I havent been able to get it to work. For my map, Im trying to have if a hero picks up a specific item (say Power Fist (go fallout)), it would delete the item, and replace the unit with a differant base damage. I know how to replace the unit, but I cant get anything to work with picking up the item, theres just nothing about it, anyone know what I could do? Also, if this is possible, is there a way to replace the unit with the same level and skills? |

Guest | Event - Unit acquires an item Condition - Item being manipulated = power fist Action - Remove Item being manipulated Then do the unit replace thing. I believe that when you replace a unit they keep the stats if they are the same unit type. Not sure though. |

Guest | Hmm, that did work, only problem is the hero doesnt stay same level/ keep skills, I can manipulate it to be the same level I believe, but if there a way to keep same skills? |

game cache...to see a good example of how game cache is used with triggers, extract a campaign map and look at the triggers for creating the main hero(s) |
