Hi all.
I need Help with Spell editing.
I know how to change Spells For example Rename a spell,give it another icon,more/less damage,etc.
But How can i make a Unit spell into a Hero spell ?
Inner Fire for a hero,I tried it but it doesn't work.
Then there is another problem. How can I make a Second Blizzard spell? I mean Copy the whole row n the .slk and aste it down.
I made it but then the spell didn'T worked.
Can Someone help me ?

When it comes to item and unit abilities: in the SLK, you have to make sure you turn

Unit - 0, hero - 1
and change the spell to hero in sort

Next, in the raceabilityfunc.txt, you have to remove "requires amount" and "requires=" both from the ORIGINAL SPELL, then copy paste etc.. then it becomes a normal spell.

give me a little more detail on what you want, and did with blizzard, or any spell, i can probably help, or tell you whats the prob.

Ok.
I have already a Blizzard spell edited ,but i need a second spell like blizzard. I wanna make a lighning spell like the blizzard but i can't because the blizzard spell isalready edited.

And if i Copy the Row and Paste it down,edit it the spell doesn'T work.
What's the problem ?

Hmm from what I know, you can't have 2 different looking blizzard spells where one is rains ice where another shoots lightning.

I think the lies with the order=

The 2nd line controls the visual and sound effects. Not too sure on what order does, but it seems to be connected with alot of spells that have a 2nd line to control the sound,visual and bufficons.

dont forget to rename "unit" to "hero" in the sort column or it wont show up in the hero spell area.

Keep middle code, of what base spell was.

Or in other words, change it back to what spell you edited.

Tags that begin with B (Bufftip and such) Can only be chaanged on the original spell (thats why you can only like have one art of blizzard). We all hope, though, that this will be changed with TFT.
