Skinning how to - Chainmail

Not sure if someone has shown this before but this is how I make chainmail:

that looks more like scalemail. Chain mail the chains are all innerlocking, so you cant just have them around eachother. For chain mail i just make one or two chain links, then use the clone brush

I just run a google search for chainmail, find a decent image, and paste in into photoshop. It's what I do for textures, and sometimes you can find really good ones.

Go to coreldraw, draw two chains, copy and past them, then export them as jpg. That's what I do with most skins. All that's left is shading.
