Warfare 2.8

Well... Gen_Iko here... I'm going to post this version of Warfare. For those of you (Well, most of you) who haven't seen it before... it's very similar to Defense Of The Ancients, but of course we did the whole thing from scratch and made our own heroes and spells.

There are 30 heroes to choose from... Each one has 4 custom spells... (Except the mushroom, who reuses Entangling Roots)

When Frozen Throne is released, TiJiL and I will be working on Warfare II with our new abilities. Trust me, it will be friggin' awesome. For now, satisfy yourself with the Tauren Shaman's custom image: A sneak preview of Warfare II.


NOTE: This game is really no more than a beta version of the gameplay for Warfare II, to see how our heroes stack up. It is a fully functional game, and is very fun, but it isn't near up to par with what we'd like... so please, download, play, but don't judge us just yet. We plan to put a lot more work into this. And please, do yourself a favor and read the quest menu (F-9) ingame. Explains all of our... eccentrics?

PS: You really MUST have Cable modem, DSL, or some other form of broadband in order to dish this map out for download. It's rather large, and if you have a 56K, it simply isn't going to cut it. You can still play though! Just get someone else to host for you.

PSS: There's a bug, somewhere, that causes a fatal error in the game, every now and then. It's pretty rare, but if you have any ideas on what's causing it, enlighten me. When we make Warfare II, we'll test the hell out of it over and over to work this out, but for now, it would REALLY help to know just what it is that's doing that. (We suspect it might be the Nitrous Android; but we aren't sure what about it)

EDIT: If someone knows of a place where I can upload this for direct download (Without having to pay for it, of course...), that might help too.

Satanic Ovine: Once again, I got a delivery failed notice, because hotmail rejected my attachment.

I am not going to bother to send to hotmail accounts anymore, as obviously it won't get through.
