well ive jst started (trying) to do some voice acting and i need a little help on how to get started, and how to improve my skills etc.
so if ne one could give me a few tips they would be greatly appreciated :D

ive got perhaps advice, if you want it.

to get a very rough voice that chicks like, scream into a mug of beer as hard as you can for about an hour. otherwise to get a very unique sound ( orcish if you like ) talk with your mothfull but you must make it sound like your talking and its your real voice.

All the tricks in the world are no match for a good voice at your side. 8)

cool thanks for the tips.. so ive got my little test sample things all nicely maximised etc where to now ?? (me needs guidance emote_sweat ) obviously im still new to va so i dunno whther my samples are ne gd

Well, GW is pretty basic. If you want to get more into editing, find Cool Edit 2000 and then Sound Forge (do a google.com search for them) and check out my other voice editing tutorial.

It's shareware. When you load it up, you can select two features (Imagine WE with only the Sound and Unit Editor) to use.
Eventually you have to register it, or you can just find a 'special' trial version.
