Mana to wood spell....

I'm currently working on a map, where i have a builder as a hero. I'm not going to have him harvest, i want to convert his mana into lumber when i click a spell button. Well, the cost of the spell will take care of spending the mana, im just having trouble getting it to give me the lumber.

I have an idea of what i need to do, i just cant get it to work. I know there needs to be a "unit is given an order without a target" trigger made, but i've never gotten one of these to work.

Is there a specific spell that's best for the "no target" trigger? If not, is there any suggestions you may have?

Unit uses spell X.
You have to check the mana, and deduct the mana if he has enough. Or if you are just going to convert the mana, then you check the units current mana, give the corresponding mana to owner of the unit in the form of mana...
"Set player X wood = player X current wood + UnitX current mana number".
"Set unit mana = that unit to 0", or something like that, it's under units tab in the actions. First one is under player.

thx for the info, but i cant get it to recognize when i hit the spell button.

i cast the spell, it deducts the cost, and nothing happens.

i tried, "when unit uses spell, give player1 25 wood, and it didnt recognize the spell"

i just cant get the name to recognize when i hit a spell with no target. i think im doing it wrong.

How did you deduct the mana? The spell is supose to be a dummy button. Since I don't do this myself, ask someone else.

base it off watter elemental, and edit the unit it summons t a custom unit. when unit enters playable map area, remove, add 25 wood to triggering players wood.
