My exporting problems

All I wanted to do was give the Medivh model a scythe. So I imported him in, edited his staff into a scythe, gave it TV facing so it would export, and now I've got a MDL file of it. I need to convert it into an MDX and YobGul's editor doesn't work. What can I do?

Did you add or delete vertexs? unless you feel like do a few hours of mdl editing I sugest you dont and whats your error?

I did not remove or add any vertexes, I only moved them around in order to give him a scythe.

As for YobGul... here.

Send me your mdl file let me see if my ver works on your mode.l I never had this error I thought you had line error of some sort o ps. Is this your first models edit cause it looks great
send mdl file to [email protected]
and ill email you back the mdx if I can.
if this dosnt work I will post a replie and you might have to do your edit allover again.

Right, I'll email the updated version now.

(I noticed Medivh's attacking animation was swiping inwards - so I had to move the way the scythe pointed. I also got rid of his eyebrows; he is a skeleton afterall)

whell i fixed it and e-mailed it to ya . Your problem was that you had a bone in your max file!

By the way, did your YobGul work, or didnt you use it? I'm curious to know exactly what you did so I can do it again in future. Thanks again.

yes i used it i use knk inportexport script to get the 3d max file to mdx file. Then i used YobGul to get it to mdl. then took the Geo sets of your model in the mdl format. Next I used my winmpq to find the org Medivh mdx then I covered tha to mdl with YobGul. pasted the geo set your model over the org file. saved that mdl used YobGul to cover it to mdx and that all I did. 5 minets worth of work . You must have wc3 ver 1.00 file for YobGul coverter to work.
