Introduction Inspired by Tower Wars, this is a totally new mod that's not a rip off of anything. There are 4 players, each player has it's own fortress that he / she has to defend against monsters using towers and other means. Rules - Each fortress has 3 entrances. Whenever a player hires a monster, it will appear at 1 of the entrances on all 3 opponents. So you'll have to keep track on who's being the most agressive when you decide to create towers. Killing monsters gives gold, hiring monsters increases the income you get every 15 seconds. - Each player can choose 1 of many 'specialties', a unique feature that will change the way that player will play the game. Examples: Constitution: All towers will have an additional 10% health Defender: 2 Fortress Guards will appear on your walls on each of the entrances to your fortress, defending it. Agressor: +5% damage to both the monsters you hire and your towers And many more - Ability to launch invasions at high cost. Invasions are different from summoning monsters. Summoned monsters walk a set path, invasions are controlled by the player invading. You decide what to attack. Only 1 invasion can be going on at a set time. - Global effects, like a Flamestrike on a player's entire fortress, damaging all towers within, but also hurting the monsters, or Sabotage, that gives you a stealth unit able to take out enemy buildings. OMG! Are you the guy who made Tower Wars? GOD! Another masterpiece! I'm going to love it! BTW How do you work so fast? |

No they didn't make Turret Wars, nor Tower Wars. The reason why I mention Turret Wars is becuase that was before Tower Wars. So, anyway, when will you release it? |

I don't work fast, I work a lot emote_sweat There's 1 trigger I spent 3 hours on to make it work right. As long as you have fun in what you're creating time flies! |

Yep... some times you're like "Okay, I'll just fix this", and when you're done, you look at the time, and omg, half the afternoon has gone (3-4 hours). But that's usualy a new system of some kind... :P I'll be looking forward to the release, mate. Also, keep it simple, it's not an eye candy map, it's a gameplay map. It's just like when they did this spin off (POORLY MADE AS WELL!!) on Wintermaul Wars, it had like 3000 flashing and/or moving doodads on a map that's like 64x64... Now that's how you show your mental handicap. As soon as someone got a flame or a battery, it became completely unplayable. Regards Dead-Inside |

I understand. I took FOUR hours trying to get my football triggers right. It was crazy! Nice terrain work, BTW. I hope to see this a lot on BNET, as I can't host maps *(#%(%(! |

Well the map size I estimate between 200 and 300 kb, so hosting for 56k is a problem for downloaders. Plan on uploading it to all known sites / creating download only games on all 3 servers, but thats far off. The # of hosted games wont be a problem if the game is fun i think, as it's a 4 player game, and you should easily be able to find 3 other players that like it. Thanks for the comment on terraining, but it's not that good in my eyes =) I tried a football game. Just too much thinking required, not my field of work, but respect to those that made some. I saw 1 good football map, think it was called Sheepball. You ran around with a sheep and had to shoot the ball or kill the person with the ball. Very wicked. |

Sheepball isn't football. Football has more rules and stuff, and takes a long time to finish :( I'm still doing field-goals, and it's just hella hard! I want to play this as soon as possible! |

Holy Cool! When will it be out? And what is MOD? |

Could I be allowed to mod this? I may want to remake the map but keep big parts of it. It will of course be your map, but would you allow me to do that? Looking forward to the release! :P Regards Dead-Inside |

Look what happened to Wintermaul. Or should I say summermaul.. or dungeonmaul.. or was it oceanmaul? No i think it was forestmaul.. Sorry, but I worked over 2 months on this, and you can be sure ill spend 2 weeks on protecting this map in every single way so that itll take someone years to find out how to look at a single tree on my map :-). Sorry, nothing personal, if blizzard would ring my doorbell tomorrow and demand my map i still wouldnt give it away. Its just sad what happens to good mods. If modifications are needed, players are free to email me suggestions / issues for future versions, but the first person to recreate this map in any way is going to die >< @chemo: I guarantee you its a pretty fast paced game. I'm putting all effort into making sure the game doesn't drag on. You can finish off a reckless opponent the first 5 minutes. Since the game isnt about lives but about a single building, if a player is totally overrun hes pretty much toast Edit - anyone know why my signature isnt working? That always happens to me :( |
