Guest | Just use Melee Map - Run AI and the computer should develop a base, etc. Give the AI Some starting resources and they should be off to a start fairly quickly |

i got custom stuff in it now, with premade units and bases... and i jsut got out trying that it didnt work. :-( whats that map.ai thing i see on some of the ai settings? is it script files for ais? :-( also i was wonder how i could get a peasent to build a Elven Barracks... it goes to about 30 hp then it stops building :-( any ideas? and while im at it might as well ask how to turn a unit like Medivh into a hero unit... i'll prob go looking at the historys as soon as i post it but will list it ehre in case i dont find anything. thanks |

I dunno about the AI, but I can help with the peasant thing. The problem is the way War3 handles order's for peasants building things. When you tell a peasant to build something, first it's ordered to build it, and that just creates a 30HP foundation. Then the game engine tells the peasant to _repair_ the building, which is what makes it look like the peasant is actually building the building. What you need to do is setup a trigger to detect the incomplete foundation being laid, and order the peasant to repair. |

hmmm... what a pain for the new buildings :-( the thing i dont get is i tried repair on it and it didnt finish building or anything... as for my otehr Q about the ai i figured that out :-) now i wonder how to make new hero units..... not write over existing ones.. |

That didn't work either? Create a new custom unit based on an existing human building and give it the elven model. Base a custom unit off a hero unit. |
