Guest | I was changing the Farseer's Chain Lightning spell into Healing Wave (the opposite of chain lightning, it's in TFT). However ther is a small problem. I changed the "Target" box in the .slk file to "friendly" instead of "enemy". the spell now targets friendly units as its primary target, but bounces to other enemy targets instead of friendly units. you can only change the initial target in the .slk, not subsequent ones. is there a way to make it target friendly units after the first shot, either through .slk editing or the World Editor? thanks in advance |

Guest | I ran into the same problem when I tried something similar. I think the jumps to enemies units are hardcoded, unfortunately. Thunderclap does the same thing, you can change it to friendly, and it still only affects enemy units. Hopefully I'm wrong and someone else can share some insight, but I think that's how it is. |

Thats a typical limit of SLK editing. As there are no field for a spell's aera of effect to chabge, this can't be fixed. This also explains why trigger enhanced spells are very useful as they offer an alternative to these limitations. Regards |
