I'm trying to make a tatoo on my character, and its the type of character where thire arm is bothe the back and front of thire arm. The problem i have is that it is not straight, so my tatoo comes out looking weird. So i was wondering if there is a way to curve the image in photoshop. I have done it in vector-based programs (Corel DRAW 9 - 11, Illustrator) but i haven't seen this in bitmap proggies, is there any way to do this.

to all you people who use Corel, what i'm looking for is the equivalent of the evelope tool.

I don't know how you could possible make something straight on a curved model. Do you mean not proportional?

no, you misunderstand, ill add a pic. the green line is how it is now, and if i do it like that the bottom looks smushed. The yellow line is rouchly how i want it to be.

I don't think it's possible the way you want. You can try Smudge tool or Distort > Polar Coordinates filter, but i don't think they'll work good.

Hum hang on, I think you can just use line tool, then set it vetorial mode, movre the points around (or even use bezier style curve) then voilà !

Here's it!
I hope you understand (amde it quickly). Any more questions just post.
And you can play around to get better results. To shade over it, just rasterize the layer, and set it to overlay mode. It must work okay.
