In the unit editor, make the tower unit have a point value the same value as the gold cost. Of course make a sell tower unit and have it in position. Now for the trigger. EVENT: Unit enters playable map area CONDITION: Unit equal to Sell Tower ACTION: Set GoldBack[Player Number of (owner of triggering unit)] = .60 x (Point Value of (Last trained building) I'm not entirely sure about this part, I don't have the trigger editor open right now, but find something to refer to the building the unit came out of Player - Add GoldBack[Player number of (owner of triggering unit)] to (Owner of triggering units) current gold. |

And you wouldn't just divide it yourself why? I have already made the perfect trigger in another thread, where the guy asked how it would be done. Of course you can set it to the same as the gold cost and the divide it before giving it to the player, and maybe it will save you a lot of counting but still. Edit: It's owner of training unit... And you also need to remove the trained unit. Regards |

http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/s...threadid=19429 That is the thread where I typed up the perfect trigger. Now you could of course divide it in the trigger, I didn't think about that. Makes life easier. Otherwise you're incorrect and there is nothing new either. Regards |

Dead-Inside do you have to be so negative all the time? It's just something I came up with this morning and I put it on here, I don't have time to read all the threads. Either way this would work. And your idea is pretty much the same. But whatever I don't have a bunch of time to think of things like this, if I'd known it was already done I wouldn't have said anything. |

I know mate, sorry for shooting you down to hard. But I had written the other things I think about 2 hours before you made this thread and it was maybe second-on-top topic. Regards Dead-Inside |

I understand, it's just when I thought of something like this I just posted it without looking through a bazillion could-be topics that may or may not have it. |

Dead-Inside, you truly are dead inside... Don't you understand that he was posting an idea of a sell tower system, i hope that everyone knows that u have to remove the tower. He was not saying he developed a new Sell tower system but he had a nice idea to include in a Sell tower system, Now shut up and dont be so Agressive, you're embarrasing our country, btw vart i sverige bor du? |

Can anyone think up of a way to give back wood? Or do I have to use an if/then/else for every tower in the map...... |
| 06-18-2003, 09:34 AM | #15 |
... If he'd make a new post, IN trigger despository, with the whole explination, then fine. But this is incorrect and when noobies are to look there, they would most certainly get it wrong. So, therefor this thread shouldn't be in there, you with me? And he is incorrect, no matter how rude or polite I am towards him. Swedish responce: Jag bor i Sthlm, själv? Regards |
