Movie-making maps (Not cinematics)

Who here has played a movie making map, an what did you think of it? The main movie making map is Stogie's Movie Time. Every other one in the genre that I know of is an edit of Movie Time. I'm almost finished making an original one based off the Stogie layout called Irken Theater. It has 4 squares of terrain, and some special triggers like day, night, ban, and more. I'd likt to take this moment to say that movie maps are fairly popular, and there are too few of them. Right now I'd like to encourage any good mapmakers to try one. Maybe later I'll upload Movie Time for you. For those of you who played Starcraft, there was a movie map in there too. Now here is my map in powernotes:

1.Irken Theater:
2.terrain
3.one judge area
4.Judge can make a movie, but won't get any points.
3.four player squares
4.2 players per square
4.dark forest square
4.Hell square
4.multiple-tooltip Islands square
4.Town/forest/graveyard square (my favorite)
2.triggers
3.enemy maker
4.Gyrocoptor that turns whatever it attacks into a comp
3.nuetralizer
4.Reverts units back to your control
3.Tree spawner
4.Creates Lordaeron Summer trees
3.Mushroom machine
4.Creates underground-style mushroom trees

I'm going to make a whole new movie maker for TFT when it comes out, and would like to hear your ideas for possible squares. Thanks for reading this long post!

If you read this, would you please reply? I'd like to know what you think of movie maps, what kinds of squares you'd like to see, and if you want to make one.

I SERIOUSLY hate Movie-Making maps:

a) Judges usually leave unless they have nothing else in their life to do.

b) About 30 minutes to make the movie, and takes long to watch them all.

c) Usually a lot of them sucks (including mine)

If you want suggestions, maybe a winter square, or a World Tree square. Maybe a Dalaran one too :D

Well...

Enemy making made easy... I have the code if you want it.
It's -give to give the selected units to the computer and -take to take them back. And yes, it works. So you can at any time turn them against you, or turn them to ally again.

Maybe a cool system would be like this:
-name XXXXX
-say XXXXX

When you type -name XXX, where XX would be some kind of name, it would be entered in to a string variable. Then you type -say XXXX, you would get the name XXX saying the XXX text.
Example: - Name Jarrod Dipshit -say I am gay
On screen:
Jarrod Dipshit: I am gay
-say I take offence to that
On screen:
Jarrod Dipshit: I am gay

Possibly you could make some kind of bind system, so you can enter names and then reffer to them quickly. Like, typing -b and you get a name bound to the letter b, which you boung erlier.

If you don't know how to do this stuff yourself, I can do it for you.

A color changing system would also be good, with tinting and all. I have this ready. This would also be for the selected units.

(In other words, if you don't know how to do the stuff above, I could do it for you, with a small credit add in of course :P)

u need custom units, and the judge needs to be able to make movies too, and a random player judjess him.

EF might have something.

There shouldn't be a single judge, but more or less a vote for who should win. Meaning that, you can't vote for yourself, but whoever get's the most votes wins. If one or more gets equal admount, there is a new vote, where those 3 are "pickable", until you have a winner. It's easy to code

This way, you have all players making movies and noone gets left out, in any way.

Everyone should have equal maps, and equal opertunities.

Deadinside, I already have the enemy maker. I would just use give hostile, but since each team has full shared unit control, chat triggers wont work very well. For example, Blue has the camera selected, and his partner Orange has a grunt selected. Orange says "remove", and both the camera and the grunt are removed. And I don't need your help, but thanks anyway.

Earth-fury, I Gave the judge the ability to make movies, but there isn't enough area for him to make a really good long one, since it uses the "Sheepinator" area from the original. So, IMO it wouldn't be fair if he was a real scored player. In the movie map I make for TFT, I'm going to do the voting idea.

Appearently you haven't though things trough, and you DO need my help. The thing that you don't want it is another part of the cookie.

See, it wont remove both, it will remove the unit OWNED by the player who types it. And the command I was talking about is the best and the easiest. If you don't make a good map, without my help, I will send a nice little PM to you.
I suggest you read trough what I have to say and think while doing it next time.

There is a reason for everything - Dead-Inside

You don't understand what I'm saying. In each square, there is a set of buildings for one player. That player shares his buildings and units with another player through full shared unit control. Therefore, any chat commands I put in are glitched. If you know how to bypass that, I'll be glad to have yor help. That the only problem I'm experiancing though, and I'm not paying anybody.

What are you experiencing?
Owned by and full shared control is sooo not the same thing.
Why do you have full shared control on anyway?

They have shared control because two sets of buildings takes up too much space, and they want to be able to control eatchother's units during the movie.

movie maps are a hassle... it would be better if:

when one person is making a movie, the other 3 vote.

others view it incinematic mode while one person is performing with triggers like

event and condition : [director types something]
action : if [selection is empty] transmition from [hidden narrarator unit] else transmission from [selected unit] using [above string ... i dunno, can this be done???]

then you can have -low transfer to a low camera and -over transfer to a high camera.

and have edited spells so you can cast all of them on anybody and dummy spells that are used to create special effects.

... And this is not what I said or something?
