Everything was working completely fine... my human map 9 mod's I did and then imported the map in to replace the old one. and I haven't had a single problem with it.. and all of a sudden out of the blue, I haven't even modified it yet... It wont load up in the game... I select Chapter 9: frostmourne as I always did before and the screen goes dark as if it's about to load the level, but it never brings up the loading screen, it just takes you right back to the campaign screen... I even tried going to chapter 8 and cheat skip but right after level 8, it brought me to the campaign screen.. Oh my god this is aggravating, and a day before I was ready to release my human mod... I can even load up the map and play it perfectly fine in a custom game... But the second I try to import it... Nope, it simply wont load up... and I did nothing to change it since the last time I played it... I've tried loading up the map in the editor and saving it and then importing it again. I've tried starting with a completely fresh war3patch.mpq file and importing it, and nothing, just kicks me back to the campaign screen when I try and select chapter 9... If I don't import my map and try loading up the default chapter 9 off the campaign screen, it works completely fine... But not my map which worked earlier today and can be loaded in custom game... *ripping hair out till bald* |

Well I solved it... One of my changes to my map was adding in another mp3... I guess it didn't like that... It seems the map was too big... I realized that when I was looking through properties and the map was about 3 megs bigger then any other map I had. about double the size of my other biggest one... I removed the mp3 and it worked fine.. But I wonder... Is there anything that can turn it off? It seems you can't import maps that are too big file size... Does anyone know a way around this? |

are you trying to put it on B.net because they wont accept anything over 4MB. |

No I wasn't... But it seems if you import a map over a campaign map that is over 4 megs, the map wont run. |
