AgilityData.slk

hey can somebody help me ? :( my AgilityData.slk doesn't work in my wc3 map, what must i do???emote_confused:(

Hmmm, well i think the reason you arent getting a response, is because you are talking about a file that doesnt exist.

Now maybeif you rename the thread to "abilitydata.slk" and you actually go as far as to like.... actually tell us what the problem is, then im sure someone will help.

That statement is about 150% wrong.
Both of you should read the tutorials posted on this site before stepping into this arena.

However, the likelihood that you will actually do that and not just give up is very slim.. so ill answer your question this time.

The reason your abilitydata.slk probably isnt working is because one of the following has happened:

1) Your .slk isn't inserted properly because excel was open while you were dragging it in.

2) Your .slk needs a preceeding path of "units\". The path is specified when you insert the file.

3) Your heroes werent assigned their new skills properly if you made new skills. These skills need to be listed in commonabilityfunc.txt and commonabilitystrings.txt. and they need to be in a directory of your war3 folder called "units" so you can add them to your heroes in the unit editor.

Thats probably going to cover all of the easy mistakes. Now since you said it doesnt "Work" im going to assume that it simply wont show up. And until you ask a real question thats phrased specifically and you put some actual work into the wording, im going to assume that I answered your question 100%.
