I've seen this many many times. People make really good skins that are just lacking that extra realisticity, so now i present to you the key to polishing your skins amd making them look even better: Filter - Noise - Add Noise Even in some of the leet skinner's skins, i see them not doing this... and i have a hard tiume understanding why, as it is perhaps the easiest way to make your skins look better. |

I used this on my Skeldor Knight skin, in the beard and in some fur parts. But using it in the whole skin isn't needed to get quality. Humm the thread seems gone. Maybe one of the DB crashes erased it. Here's the pic linked from the another thread: http://www.wc3campaigns.com/forums/a...&postid=183847 Look at the beard at the end of the SS. That's a noise filter in overlay mode over the shading. Same in the fur. |

i see what ur saying but a 1-3% of noise acually does make your skin look a helluvalot mor realistic. I don't have any before-after pics but if your going for a realistic and not -cartoony or perfectuos look this will help alot. |
