Guest | I hate being a newbie to forums. But, here I am. Here's my situation: .. in a nearly completed map I am making, I've got 2 players versus one computer opponent. Both players have to build their bases up from nothing, but the computer begins with a full base, most things researched, but a couple of units disabled. However, I can't get any AI to work for the computer. All I know to try is "AI - Start melee AI script for Player 7(Green): orc.ai" or "AI- - Start Campaign AI script for Player 7(Green):orc.ai" (yep, they're orcs.) Neither one of these work. I suppose they don't work when the computer has a base already built. Am I SoL or is there hope? Thanks for any answers. Also, I hear from time to time again that the only way to have a computer AI (currently) is to make it yourself using triggers. Can I get an example of one of these triggers? (I mean, are we talking about periodic events which issue train orders, and others which issue attacks when a certain group of units has been accumulated, etc.?) For such a necessary component in a custom map, you'd think this would be easier. Help! :) -GS |
