Custom Minimap Image

Yes, I know there are many posts about making a custom minimap image; however, none of them fully explain it and none of them are 100% correct.

Question#1: How do I change the "Loading Minimap Image" and not the in-game minimap image?

Question#2: How do you get rid of the little colored dots on the minimap (such as a gold mine, a neutral building, a unit, etc)?

Please, someone, FULLY explain the answers to these questions. I would go to forum.warcraftiii.net, but their forums are currently down.

removing those you would export the minimap and use a custom image, addign a loading minimap, USE MAP UTILITYS. look for the tread its in... its sticky...
