OK you know how in somemaps towers have spells like Deathcoil and when theyu attack they are casting it instead? How would you do that? Thx

wrong. thery have the death coil projectiel art. u nees umswe, or map utilitys. pop tools trhead. edith the projectiel art to the path of death colil missle.

I knmow how to do that, but in burbenogs (sp?) Td the tower actually have spells that are cast when they attack. Here check this out map, like the black caster tower (Death element) and the quake tower (earth element) has the spell itself and autocasts it when attacks

no, like shockwave. The unit has the shockwave ability (not autocast) but when it attacks it will cast it

-A unit owned by (the comp who controls the creeps) is attacked
Conditions
-Unit-type of (attacking unit) equal to (Death Coil Tower)
Actions
-Order (attacking unit) to Undead Death Knight - Death Coil (attacked unit)
-Set mana of (attacking unit) to 100%

That trigger should work, supposed that the "Death Coil Tower" knows Death Coil (best to add the ability 4 - 5 times, to avoid cooldown issues) and has enough mana.

Will that work, as its being told to death Knight-Death coild, but the tower has the non-hero version. Tell me if it does though.
Nice to see someone else has caught onto this, half my towers have abilites that work like that (eg purge, slow, faery fire to name a few).

A unit can only have one ability with the same code. Like if you base a custom spell of searing arrows, give him that and searing arrows, only one will show.

Just give the "Death Coil Tower" the neutral hostile version of Death Coil, and run that trigger. What's the problem with that?
