im new need help

i found this site becuase bnet forums wasnt doin it for me so i need some "professional help" i have3 different merchent places for the heroes to buy stuff and
i was wondering if theres anyway to give them different properties
and appearences example one sells tomes one sells potions and one
sells hero skills

also how do i edit the individual items like if i want to lower
the cost of a tome


and finially

if i ever finish my map i want to protect it... but i dont know how

Just go to the Unit Editor and change the 'Items Sold' field for that building (You'll need 3 DIFFERENT buildings)


Go to the Unit Editor again and find the item you want to change the price of. The cost is right there.
