Guest | I am having trouble figuring out how to confine a unit to a specific region, much like how Archimonde won't ever leave the base in the last NE mission... if anyone can help me with this i will be greatly appreciative, thanks. |

Event: Unit leaves region Confinement Condition: TRiggering units equals to Archimonde (example) Action: Unit - move units(triggering unit) (instantly) - to center of region confinement here ya go :P this should do it. |

Guest | Thanks, that will be handy but it's not quite what i'm after... i have it so when the unit leaves a region it will stop, but how do i make it so it won't go any further? if i click on a point in the region it's not supposed to be in, then he will move to that point, instead of out of the region. |

Guest | instead of moving him to the center of region, u could move him towards the center of region just a little bit... then it would like he just stopped.. and he wont ever be able to leave the region.. |

Or just Issue him and order telling him to Stop, or move into the region again. |

Guest | the trigger i used was Event: Unit - A unit enters Demon Gate 01 Conditions: ((Owner of (Triggering unit)) Equal to PLayer 1 (Red)) and ((Triggering unit) Equal to Archimonde 0026 Actions: Unit - Move (Triggering unit) instantly to ((Position of (Triggering unit)) offset by (0.00, 10.00)) As the only way he could leave the area was through 1 of 3 demon gates, this trigger would force him back just enough so that he was no longer in the demon gate region, therefore he could never move out of the region he was initially in. |
