How do you view a skin on a model?

How do you place a skin on a model and view it? I need an easy way to see the skin besides the way it is in .blp where the pieces are all sorted out and it would be better if I could see it on a model, but I don't know an easy way to do that. Could you please help?

There are two ways:

1st way - Just use Warcraft III Viewer and load the model you want in the treeview. If it's a custom skin just foloow the steps below.

2nd way - put the blp in the path inside your w3 folder like it was in the mpq (e.g.: you extract Textures\Footman.blp. Now you will put the blp in a Textures folder inside W3 dir - create it if needed).

Then load with W3V or WE, and it'll surely work!

The skin is the huntress skin and I can't find the normal .blp in the .mpq.

Edit: Ok nevermind. I found it. It's called sentinel.blp. Thanks for the help.

Nice 3-posts-in-a-row. Could you edit them and and delete 2 of them please? ;)

Thanks.
