Creating a flame on a unit

Is there any way to create a flame doodad on a unit every second or so to make it look like he/she is on fire? I've been trying to figure this out for a while :P Thanks.

I believe there is a method to create a constant flame, like that of an inferno, but it requires you to edit the model itself. I'm not sure how to do this, but I've seen it done.

You can try Special Effects - Create special effects on unit

Attach it to his head, chest, origin, hand, whatever.

Doodads\Cinematic\TownBurningFireEmitter\TownBurningFireEmitter.mdx

I randomly pulled a fire mdx from the listfile. You can look through it to find one that's more appropriate.

Save the special effect in a variable if you want to destroy it later.
