Guest | Can someone tell me how to make a trigger that would kill a unit if he entered a certain type of terrain. I am making a naval map with ships, but ships can only go over shallow water. So I need a trigger that will kill any ground units that enter the water. Is it possible to do it without the gayness of mass regions? |

Guest | One alternative might be this. Make Deep water ships. You can do this simply by making the ships of the "Fly" movement type. then putting invisble air units all around the water. THis will block ships from leaving the water areas. and if you need flying units to be able to go back and forth over these areas just turn off collison for them with a trigger. THis isn't the best method but it's the one i use. and it seems to be the only one out there. |

Guest | Well this is a 256*256 map of Europe, so it might take way too many units to do that. |

Guest | This is a lamo way, but you could just have units spawn in shallow water, and just have no way for others units to get their. |

Guest | Heh im using a method like that. However I also need transports to get to England for example. They have to be air. I need to prevent transports from unloading in shallow water instead of England. And waygaytes = no thx, as it greatly limits gameplay. |
