Hi I am trying to implement a Medivh skin. I used WinMPQ and added it. I typed "Units\Creeps\Medivh\" for the folder name. I checked and this is right. Now when I open up World Edit and I try to look at the skin, it turns out it's invisible. There is only a shadow, but no visible skin. Can someone tell me what I'm doing wrong? |

ok use mpq2k and make a short cut of it then go to properties then add to the target "a a.w3m *the BLP file* *the path including the file*" then put the map in the mpq2k directory then put the blp and the map that is renamed to a in the directory where mpq2k is then run the shortcut if this doesnt make sense sorry i tried my best NOTE and if u open the map the skin goes bye bye |

ok, that info is just wrong and irrelivant. 1. If you open a map nothing happens, only when you SAVE in worldedit 2. Where did you use WinMPQ to add it to? You only need to put it into that folder in your warcraft directory, don't mess around with your map untill you want t o check it in in Warcraft. for example, to see a medivh skin I would put it in c:\Games\Warcraft III\Units\Creeps\Medivh 3. You need UMSWE or to screw with your registry to accomplish this. and btw, if there is any alpha value other than 0 on a skin it automatically makes that part invisible and buttinc, your avatar will piss off alot of people... pls change it. |

To view it in the WE, you said to add it to the units folder. I don't have a units folder. How do I view it quickly in the WE? EDIT: I figured out a way. thanks anyways |
