Hey, This is the last time i will mod this, because i will be comming home from vacation soon :D Ive been thinking about it, and in the next version, after i test it out with expansion and find things i need to change, like, i was talking to zak_ and he said blizz made some unit cost lumber that didnt in the past, so i might have to fix that. Well, after that, i will change the time intervals again to 20 seconds, rather then 25, so the game speeds up a little, and once i do that i will fix the level intervals to be 1/3 shorter so the game runs by faster, with that, the max game time would be like 40 minutes or so. But... some things that i change previously(and a lot of new stuff in the quests sections... ---25 second intervals ---all or most summons have abilities, so there is alot more strategy when summoning, and finding the perfect combinations of summons(hint-Tier 1 dragons+gnolls or ogres makes a deadly starter combo) Abilities include*** Healing aura(Small) Healing ability(1%/sec) 10% faster run, 10% faster attack, spell immunity, and something else, sorry i forgot :) ---Canned the max income idea because with the new auto summons that come... It makes the game get progressively harder, and if you dont keep up with the game, you will lose(lol... me and my beta tester got so owned the first time we tried lol...) ---Plus tons more!!! *reply if you notice anything that needs fixing* |

Heh.. I liked your previous versions but this one really dissapoints me man. - You overdid it majorly on the colors - You did quite sloppy on the regions, the units just move over the grass ignoring the paths - Restock times are really weird - Too many colors! Sorry, it's all negative but I'm just being honest =| |

Sorry if it looks like i over-did it, i used alot of text colors to sorta highlight some stuff, normally people dont read what it says, needed to be more flashy. About some of the things you said, the regions are in the correct spots and stuf, but, sometimes units just sorta sway one way or another, it really doesnt hurt anything, the only way to fix that would have boundries or something, and that would look ugly, ive tried it. About the restock times, here is why they seem slow. If you played an olderversion, you would see that incomes and monster stats are doubled. So if you summon 2 spiders from an older version, its like summoning 1 spider from this new version, it cuts the summons in half, and is worth the exact same. Another thing about the restock time, every tier works under same time restock for each summon, and their spot. So a level 1 spider thing, would be the same restock as a bandit tier 1, or, an ogre restock would be the same as a wendigo tier 2, and same for tier 3 4 5. The reason i did this was so that you lose the little summons faster, and are forced to summon stronger units. Also sort of another lag fixer thing, lag in this map was too horrible to play. Atleast now, it might lag sometimes, but its not the kind of lag that just sticks with the game forever. Thanks for your reply, and appreciate your comments, keep them comming!!! tft editor: doodads: pathing blockers: ground and air pathing blockers those are invisible and things cant go past them. To see the area they cover turn on view: pathing. |
