I got the tool but when I use it on my map, it turns it into "Just another warcraft III Map" (dont worry I have a copy of it separate, im not quite that dumb". The readme says I need a listfile, but it would seem the listfil I have included isnt working? I think it must be the listfile, so what needs to be included in this listfile? if its not that what other good protection programs could be used? |

try extracting the list file and checking that everything is there like it should be. i had a similar problem using mpq2k and an auto implant.bat where the listfile would be overwritten and have only the implanted file names. if this was the problem then to solve: make a new listfile that includes regular and implanted files and implant it in the w3m after autoimplanting everything else using winmpq or something. Just overwrite whatever is there and it should be good. |

ok, now i'm having the same problem... i select lock and it selects everthing else for me, but when i go to run the compresses map, it gives me the "just another warcraft map" error.. now i'm using cusome triggers and skins, so i have a ton of imported files. is this causing a problem... and what EXACTLY is the "listfile" that's spoken of and where do i need to put it? is the the file named listfile in the wc3 folder, or is it the mpq file that lists everything? either way, i've never used the listfile for anything and the mpq one, i've only used for getting paths... help plz. thx. |

Now that my internet is working, thanks XP that fixed it. As for the listfile it is a .txt file that goes inside your map (like an implanted file) and it lists all the files in there. If you are truly having the same problem then the fault may lie in this listfile, what will often happen is that when you insert new files (skins spells etc.) the listfile will no longer include the original files in the mpq (war3map.doo, war3map.j, etc) so what you would do in this case is open the file up after youve implanted things, and edit the listfile to simply include the names of all the things you added AND all the war3map things. Then HeavyLock will work like a charm. |
