How to remove the path from a building

i tried..but couldnt get to remove the path when u make a building...i was making a building (based of a farm)and gave it the entangling roots model..it works but i cant remove the stone path that makes the farm usually

FT editor allows u to specify the ground underneath a building, including 'none'

yeah but is there a way without FT WE?
