5 hero skill cap has been breached

Yup, here's how I did it:

First off, know that this does not make the hero skill appear in the submenu where you learn skills. You will need to make some sort of trigger mechanism for giving the player the skill and increasing its level.

OK, anyway, create a hero with five skills. Then at map init, give him the sixth skill with triggers (he will get it in its level 1 form). Then go into the upgrade editor and make an upgrade with the "Ability Bonus" effect. Specify the ability it affects to be the sixth skill. Then whenever you want the skill to level up ingame, simply increase the level of the upgrade. Tada, more than 5 hero skills! If you get rid of the attack button and have no normal skills you can at least fit 8 clickable ones. (Passive ones, even if they don't have a button, still do their effect in TFT, so more skills are possible)

thats a painful work around...
DA can you check if you can downgrade the upgrade and see if the ability level goes down or can you think of someway that I can have such a bonus?

Actually, what it's really best suited for is a map where the player chooses _all_ of their skills through a trigger system, thus allowing them to choose any assortment of skills for their hero.

I might test that later, but I'm busy making Battledome ]|[, which will be the most rockin' map ever :D

Well my idea is like those funky diablo Items that gave you like +5 to fireball when equiped. But when you deequiped them you lose the +5 to the skill.
