Player 1: Red Player 2: Blue Each player initialy has 5 lives. Health of all units must be set to 1000 Custom units are not allowed ******** Regions&Trigger Rules No tampering with the other players triggers. Regions are allowed within the ring. Regions must start with "yourname" to avoid confusion Cameras must focus on the ring. Effects cant actualy deal dammage, the judge decides how mouch it hurts. You may not, repeat not, use "Unit - kill" on the other player (on the spectators its ok) A trigger may only be vallid one round. "When unit enters region" for example must only happen once. ******** Game Rules: If you try to dodge you MUSt do it in style. The spectators are yours to do whatever you want to. Your move may only be 20sek loong (roughly). Anny dialoge must be as game text. The name of your attack must be shown. (game text) If you dont submitt a move within 2 days you are discuallefied. Healing is allowed, but there must be a Great Uber Cool effect to it.. Here again its up to the judge. The judge may give extra points as he sees fit. You may not move the other players unit. Try not to use custom music more than once, and dont let it exceed 20sek (Trim it) The match is over when either of the player lives reaches 0. When creating effects on units, please only make them 1 time, because they are stuck forever. Also crate a varialbe containing the effects used so player2 can dispell them.. when a new effect is created every 0.50 sec its impossible to remove them..... please make these changes. and add a variable at the end: real varialbe YOURNAMEENTURN = 1. How it works: The first player to go, gets to set where the units start in the ring. Once you have finished your attack move (may not exceed 20sec) you submitt the map to the judge. If your attack is Ok, the map is given to player 2. He may either make a new attack or try to dodge your previus. Player 2 gives the map to the judge, the judge decides how much dammage is delt, and if the player managed to dodge. OK, I have been pundering with an idea for some time, How about a proper cinematics duel.. This wont be like annything else. I mean duel, etc: Man1VMan2 Drawn who starts. The map is a premade arena. The players must chose what hero / character to use. The player who starts, makes his attack move on player to, using whatever triggers, effects etc.. (no more than 20 sek) Player2 gets the map, then tries to make his character, either dodge in a stylefull fashion (no just moving him avay) or counter attacks. A judge deals damage, and a new round starts. This keeps going until a player reaches 0 life. example: I challenge TheGuy1: I chose Blademaster, and he Choses A pesant. I fire up WE and create a cool attack move on the pesant. He Gets the map. Creates a cool dodge. A judge gets the map, and determinse wether or not the dodge was sucessfull.. And so on.... Is this a cool idea? I can put some time into this when i finish with my current project.[ |

It is a really nice idea, but it will take WAAAAAY to much time! Look at GoCD, it takes people weeks to make their part! I know people only have to make a single attack/dodge, but I'm quite sure it will get stuck after 5 attacks/dodges... You'd better let people POST their attacks, and then 1 guy makes the whole cin? |

This idea may actually be good, but there's just a large chance of it going nuts. Possibly with a referee to keep things in check though.... And it shouldn't take THAT long, the GoCD takes so long because everyone is putting in parts over 5 minues. -Insaniteus- |

Ok, I have decided to do this thing.. Since I finished Prelude today and its out (see topic) The judge will act as a referee, if something is out of line, then the player is discuallefied. I will start plotting out a few rules, make an arena, and in generall think it more trough, then post here.. Annone want to be a judge? |

Well a similar thing has been done in graphics forums. It was called "Photoshop Pong" where people start with a basic pic and sends it to the other who adds something to it. Well, considering I have ALOT of experience with RPG fantasy battling (Been doing it for 5 years, I have over 300 characters including Insaniteus) I would make a good Judge/Ref. Besides, since I can't actually MAKE any maps atm I don't have much else to do lol. -Insaniteus- |

Good, heres the map. (attached) You know what to do chicken, Set up the first camera, position units in the pit. Do an attack move. Submitt for judgigm, by posting here so that annyone can watch. (If Insaniteus cant to it, someone else must) PS, can this topic be sticked? |
