Wow, wow. when i dowloaded this cinematic i didnt think it would be worth much like alot of first cinematics are, but this one was 1 8/10 for a first.:D Finally some good camera work and interesting and clear storyline. Some grammar mistakes and little errors. The terrain wasnt half-bad either. maybe try lowering some of the trees so that the dont float in the air. One thing that really stunk was the city. Most new terrainers have a hard time making cities simply b/c they dont want to take the time to make it good. When you make a city dont just randomly scatter houses, add roads and low walls and trees etc. GO CRAZY ON DOODADS.;) Very cool animation. Try making that blademaster move faster when he jumps down the path at that captain. Either that or make the camera move really slow. cant wait for the first part this cinematic project is looking good.:D |

Yea, its pretty good, a few things tho, 1) Needs Music 2)Few errors/glitches (when there around the campfire, The blademaster has the wrong portrait) 3)Some grammer problems 4)Some of the talking doesn't have enought time to read it all, some has too long time to read it. Other than those, its good.:D |

Thanks for the great feedback, it makes it worhtwhile. Annyway, I have made some changes and will post the revised edition soon. I thing I will construct the rest of the saga in a non chronical order, the next episode will be the last.. Kinda like starwars, hehe. Probably will start working on it next week. |

OK.... Does annyone have anny tips on how to make good "big" outdoor scenes.. Also how do you supose a big orc city looks like? Not asking for "help" to make it, just for general tips. Age of Shin is comming along, I am wery dedicated to what I do.. so screens this week maybe. PS the screen in my sig (the desert) is from1: The Gathering of The Circle of Blades. |

I just saw the cinematic. Overall great job, but there are a few things that I would like to point out: -A few spelling errors. There wasn't anything serious, but you may want to fix them. -The scene where the four Orc guys were conferencing, make that shorter, or use different cameras. The scene lasted a bit long. -When you had the earthquake special effect going under the tower, you should make it stop shortly after the tower explodes. -Music is a must. Some parts of your cinematic were very silent, which could get boring. -I really liked some of the things you did with the fighting scenes. Very cool. Can't wait for the next Part! :D |

Really cool man! I'm working on a cin myself, and I want to get the best terrain possible. Like Zurg said, your terrain needs some slight polishing here and there, and as for the errors in the dialogue. There are a lot of grammar and spelling errors. It doesn't take away from the story, as it's understandable and all, so don't worry about that. But I'd say revise your dialogues and polish up your terrain. Keep up the great work, man! That'll be all! |

thanks for the feedback: as for the spelling I am half-quarter-devided-by-two-dyxletic (How do you spell that annyway?) But I will do a revision as soon as I can. As you may have seeen in my sig the saga is on hiatus because like my spelling my abillity to focus also stinks. Im trying my hand at commedy, title revealed as: "The alchemist from Klee" Just needed a break from some of the drama in Age of shin,. Wont be alot of action there, trying to focus more on conflict (the essense of drama). But the saga will be finished, est: fall 2003. NB: I tired to download it, worked fine, what browser are you using, there might be trouble with text based browsers such as links or lynx since w3m is not recognised as a file... but I doubt you are using one of them....are you? |

Yeah, when I read your errors, I figured you were a dyslectic, but I didn't wanna bring it up, in case you were not. :) Anyway, like I said, it doesn't at all take away from the story, and I'm awaiting the next installments. Too bad it's on hiatus. I wouldn't put it on hold just because you have a spelling difficulty, though, cuz hell, there are a lot of people who have everything spelled correctly and all, but the rest is just crap. But take your time, I know what it's like to have difficulties with focussing on this. I have it too. I keep working on various different things, like a little bit of terrain, little bit of story, little bit of this and that. AAAH! The terrain in your sig looks great, btw, I just love that big mountain (the right pic). When I saw it, I tried to make one like that, but I couldn't. :) |

Its not on hold because of my spelling, couldnt care less about that. Why its on hiatus is in the thread, I wanted to relax a little while a did something not so serius, the comedy: "The aclhemist from Klee, a tragic comedy derived from the great greek plays, on display soon in an amfi-theatre near you". |
