I just made an ability based off Command Aura for a DH model hero... but now, after he learns the ability, instead of standing it plays his channeling (mana burn) animation... is there any way i can get around this? I used a trigger to enhance it, even thought i doubt that is the problem if you want i will posst that here too. |

that thing when he raises his blades up(like when he cast mana butn) is his casting animation. so i dont know anything about ur spell but that animation is played when he cast a spell. |

I'm not sure since I don't dabble in the unit's animation sector much, but you might try the "animation" actions.. like.. Play "standing" animation for your hero every time he stops.. It'd be a bit inefficient, but I believe it will get the job done. |

I do believe there is a trigger action you can use for this. Simply make a trigger that says -Event :Elapsed time is 0:00 -Condition: :None -Action :Remove [animation name] from [unit]'s animations Of course, this means that when using mana burn he doesn't stick his blades up, but let's face it: A) Nobody sees that animation but for the SPLIT-second he casts manaburn (it's his only actual targeting spell) B)It's a small price to pay for removing constant channeling. C)besides, I think there is an action that can add animations back in, so if there is you can do some detection of mana burn, add animation back in, turn on another trigger. the other trigger waits until a unit is damaged by your demon hunter, and then it turns the channeling animation back off, then turns itself off. sweet huh? |

doesn't work... WAAAA i did : Add/remove animation tag from unit: remove "stand channel" from [my unit]... only does it once. will doing this repeatedly cause alot of lag? |

YES YES YES I DID IT I AM NOW GOD THANK YOU EVERYONE!!!! solution: Event: Hero learns a skill Condition: Hero Skill = Fire Gauntlets Action: Remove "Stand Channel" tag from (triggering unit) apparently, when he learns the skill it resets the values. no all i have to do is tackle TFT hero glow... |
