Well hopefull one of our skilled tool makers will provide us with a add-on to make it work. Or maybe there are procedural tricks to making it work. Either way its too bad. If its bugged or isnt user friendly that means the forum will be bombarded by more noobi questions 100 times a day.

Make sure that you're actually putting them in the right folder. After you import them, right click the file, click modify file properties, check use custom path, and put in the correct path. If you don't do this you're not going to notice the changes.

I have seen models, skins, and interface icons work.

Hehe, Demanu my good friends, it's all you...
You need to replace an already exsisting splash screen, and it has to be 512x512 (I guess you knew the last part).

i did both ways...

when u apply a fade filter in the TFTWE it lets u choose the average fade filters or it will let u choose a custom imported 1...i chose the custom imported one i first thought it would read the file as i imported it, now i know i created the fade filter corectly, it would not show up in game....then deleted the file, reimported it againa and change the filepath to a already existing fade filter, ReplaceableTextures\CameraMasks\Panda-n-cub\ ...when i did this i renamed my file to panda-n-cub also....when i tested it it did not work either.....i am almost positive i did everything correctly...so if i am wrong can some1 tell me how they got there splash screen working using the import manager of tft?
