Sorry for double news, but this is also important. As some of you have found out, the new TFT we that came with the game may be missing threads or having some kinda error. Since I was just going to go get the game right after i post this, I'm not 100% sure if this is a fix. Anyway, as soon as the game is installed, connect to bnet and get the updates. This SHOULD fix your game, and update it to the correct version with all the updates that happened in beta after production started. This should also fix any WE problems you might be having. Even if you dont play on bnet, make sure you always update your game. It is of the utmost importance so you can properly produce maps. Thank you. *Edit* On another note, I have released we-no-limits for the TFT world editor, check it out here. --StonedStoopid |

I got that working, I had to reinstall unfortunately, And if you are patched to 1.10, it does not seem to function.... I have not tested this theroy, but it is reccomended you uninstall WC first, do not patch too 1.10 after you reinstall, now install FT and it should work Fine. |

Remove or rename all of the UMSWE or whatever wierd folders you have in your WC3 directory. Also restart your comp. |

Damnit ppl, if you have the beta tft we installed, uninstall it. it will basicly just delete the folders that are messing you up. And if you dont have it installed, make sure any unit, ui, and such folders are deleted. All you need is screenshots, replays, maps, and movies folders in there. If theres no movies folder, then dont worry about it. |

Hmm, I think blizz may have fudged somethiiing up.I've done everythiing i could think of(Including re-installing) and the damn neutral units still refuse to show up.Not just the FT units, but ALL of the neutral units are gone.Any one else having this problem? I'm thinking blizz fumbled something, this is a fairly large glitch, and it needs to be taken care of Asap. How are we(The Modders) supposed to make maps, when we cant even place neutral hostile units? BAH! *Stomps off to fiddle with the world editor, cursing under his breath:cuss: blizzard..* |

Um, ever hear of backing up your files? You might want to look into that. |

Hmm, you seem right, Blizzard screwed up big time. Just look at the attachment. |

I answered your questions ppl... its very simple. But since you dont seem to want to do this, i propose this idea. Uninstall the game, and chose not to delete games (just dont check that box). Then go into the warcraftIII folder and make a folder called "Holding". Now, cnp all the folders in there (cut and paste) into the holding folder. Now install Wc3 RoC, and then update the game to 1.10 after you install it. Then install tft, and update it. Now update tft by getting onto bnet. After its updated, you should have no problems. Now, if you still have problems, you didnt follow my directions exactly. IT DOES WORK! Masterslowpoke showed you all it works. And ive never had a problem with them before either. |

Simple fix: 1) Go to Bnet, download update. 2) Delete extra folders in your War3 directory like UI or Units that came with programs like UMSWE. The old advanced editors won't work with FT anyhow, so don't get too sad about their loss. Warcraft looks at these extra folders when it's starting the WE, and since they're weird ones that don't match the current version, it spews out a bunch of errors. Removing the files and patching makes the thing work beautifully, no reinstall is required. |
