Question about heads

Ok, I know that you can make the heads turn and stuff, but how did they make them talk? In the orc campaign for ROC, it shows thrall moving his mouth. How do you do that? Thanks.

the mouth movement is part of a unit's animation. So you would have to edit animations on units that dont have this feature. if you did a close up of the unit talking or something or just showed his head in a shot then you could use the unit's portrait model. Just make a custom unit using the file path for the portrait model. This would have the talking animation but you could only show part of the body.

Oh i see. How come the grunt was talking too then? Hm... well thanks for the info anyway. It'll help a lot.

Just thought to mention, several units have the very same model for their portrait as for their regular model.

If you have Warcraft 3 viewer then you can browse through the models (in case 1.10 did not break it).
U can get it from the downlaods section and i think it has a thread in the mapping equipment forum.
