Alright here is what I need to now since i'm only new to skinning... 1. Sometimes when inserting my skin and checking it in game all I can see is where the team color shows and the legs and body and arms are invisible... 2. What does "Alpha" mean coz I here some people talking about it and I dont know what it means... Well can some one tell me... PLEASE...:ggani: |

Alpha is one of the channels in photoshop. There is red, green, blue, alpha. The black parts of the alpha channel are the ones where the skin becomes invisible and the team color appears if there is team color in that area of the model. The gray areas are where the skin becomes transparent and the team color partially comes through if there is team color in that area of the model. The white parts are where just the skin is shown and if there is any team color in that area, you don't see it on the model. |
