I'd like to update the [MD Team] Sheep Tag v7.1 map up to The Frozen Throne standards, and since they no longer work on it (as far as I can tell), I believe that I can... Anyways, I plan on making it better... sorta as a side project, all of their names will still be in it, but it will have certain TFT elements added... (maybe jungle tileset...) I need to know where I can find an unprotector so I can get this map opened and editable, Thanks! Hope no one minds =) |

there was once a map unprotector but the guy that made it in the flame war that ensued. maps are protected for a reason... if it's a simple map try and remake it yourself, otherwise contackt the creator... they will give it to you if they feel like it. |

They don't make it anymore so I didn't understand why there would have been a problem helping them update everything to TFT standards... there is no more unProtector? Is that what you mean?! NO MORE unProtector??? |

Guest | Someone's map is their own work, if they wanted you to have it they'd give it to you. As it is we'd rather Unprotectors don't float around because they make it real easy for people to steal our maps and modify them as our own. Your best bet is to try and contact the original maker and tell them your intention. Or to create a similar level from scratch. |

I completely agree with the people who DON'T want a map UNProtector. I hate it. On Battlenet, everytime I want to play a custom map, I have to download the newest modded verison with Uber abilities or wahtever. You know what? If the creator wanted that, he/she could've done it by him/herself. :D |

Well, if it isn't Undead-Swarm! What happened to your "gods" idea? Yes, it's really good not having to worry about some unprotector. Not that I manage to create anything worth protecting, but anyway... |

Maps are mind numblingly easy to unprotect. You can't get full trigger editing back, but it takes a whole 30 seconds to get everything else back. |

Remake the map yourself and make it better. Dont attempt to improve someone elses map. It wont get you any respect. Especially not on these forums. |
