what would you like to see in a "dungeon-escape" map

I've been working on a new campaign level where the characters is moving throuhgt a dungeon with a limited force of about 10 units. I've already fixed some standard features, such as creeps in dungeons to slaughter, surprises(f.ex. five pre-hidden salamanders appearing and attacking you just when you're low on HP), cluing (like f.ex. u have to use this ability to make your way throught this passage)and so on. Now I wounder: what would you like to see in this type of map?

Should for example I add more cluing?
cinematics?
in-game shots?
Horror effects?
Co-Storial optional quests?
Intresting items?

Could I get some reason that makes my characters have to sneak? I think that could be a good feature.

If I have two teams in the map other than the player and they are fighting each other as well, how could I use that? Could that be a favour for the player?

I want a REALLY DAMN LOUD "RAAAAAAAAAAAARG" OUT OF SOME NOWHERE LAND SO IT SCARES THE HECK OUTTA EVERYONE, WITH THE CUSTOM SPLASH SCREEN THAT RESEMBLES A DEFORMED ZOMBIE!

That would scare the heck outta everyone!

I'd like to see the necesity of sneaking past guards that look in different directions and patrol and you hafta sneak past them when their back is turned and such things like that. Also, have you ever played bound maps in starcraft? They were rather popular, involving basically an obstacle course, usually (though they had other things) involving the need to run through a pattern of explosions. Mapmakers would try to make it difficult because you'd hafta like, run around in different directions to avoid explosions. Remember they were always patterns, so this might be a nice thing to see (though many people in starcraft hate bounds and they are virtually nonexistant now, but still, throw some in this map! Throw in everything that you'd expect a dungeon keeper to use to stop people from an escape.)

Edit: and also, dont do what mech sheep suggested, I've nearly shit my pants enough, that's what flash "subliminal message" cartoons and such are for.
