Wierd error where model is not shown

I actually have two questions and I figuered I'd get them out of the way in one post. First of all is the error mentioned in the subject.

Ok, when I make a custom model and then change the unit to flying the model does not show up when I play the map in warcraft. It shows up in we, but when I play it there is only a shadow. I thought it could have something to do with the height so I changed the movement height to 0.01 on a model and when I played the map it was there. I thought the problem was fixed, but it was actually worse. When I went back to look at the unit in we it was back on 0.00, but it was purple as if it had been changed (the unit it is based off of was at 0.00 originally). Now when I try to change the movement height it never actually changes it and is always reset to 0.00 after saving it and reopening it. I tried to replicate that coarse of action so I could just get my other units to have models, but it didn't work again.

It is very strange... I just started happening all of a sudden after working fine for a while.

The other question I have is just simply how does a lot of regions affect the map. Would it slow it down or make it larger or not really affect either of those. I am talking like 500 or more regions on a single map.

Thanx,

I seem to have the same problem. It seems although I haven't tested it much to only affect heros that are modified so that their movement is flying. Either way I can't seem to find a fix for it myself.

Also, I don't think regions affect a map that much. I think you can have 500 w/o any slowdown but I wouldn't really know for sure because I've never used anywhere near 500 =)

Well I am 100% certain it affects non-hero units. In fact I have not used any heros. I have pretty much only used orcish units though. It is very annonying....

I tried that and it doesn't work (as I said). Actually it reacted strangely and then still doesn't work.

I have the same problem and I noticed that it started after I installed WE Enhanced Blink.

Now that you mention it I believe my problems started just after I installed the newest WE enhanced blink as well (well I don't think that's what it was called when I got it, but I think it's the same).

I've noticed that units with Shadowmeld will disappear at night...when they sleep and are invisible you can't see them. Are your units attacking while invisible, or sleeping at night?
