The problem is that that file, which is in your warcraft 3 folder isn't in also in the same folder as Image extracter. I personally keep image extractor in my warcraft 3 folder. |

Or just copy the file from W3 dir to IMGXtractor2 folder, or get Warcraft III Viewer on downloads section. |

You messed up the alpha channels. You need to save it as a 24 bit. You need to save it with as 24 bit, uncompressed. I'll write a tutorial about repairing the alpha channels right now. |

yay it works!!! but now how do you get team colors to work... :bangH: Something with transparency right? Im using adobe photoshop 7.0 how do you make them transparent?? :saddened: Thanks again [edit] It keeps coming up red again. I got it to work once. I edited a little more and i did the same exact steps to restore the alpha channels. I dont know what wrong now. Slowpoke what program are you using? |

You make team color by using the Alpha Channel on a part of the skin that is mapped to an area of the model that uses team color instead of transparency. I use Paint Shop Pro 7. I'm not entirely sure how to edit Alpha Channels in PS. You are making sure that you keep your edited file as a .TGA and not a .JPG or .BMP or anything, right? Wait, I think I got it. You're using Photoshop 7.00, right? You need 7.01, stat! |

well i got the skin to work i had to fix the layers. yes, i am using PS 7.0. i dont understand how to fix team colors though. what do you mean using alpha channels on the part of the skin? |

Well, short of editing the model, there's no way you can add team color through skinning. Also, I put a plugin for PS 7.00 on my site, it will keep you from having this problem again. It's in the "Editing Alpha Channels" tutorial, under Photoshop. |
