for a tft mod, im gonna make a mod where there will be 2 new races: the nagas and X the nagas will be.... you nagas X will be demon/human kinda like demi humans i will need 2 or 1 modeler a programer, someone who can get the race ingame on the droplist a sounds person a conecpt art person. i will skin. and anyone can make spellz and upgrase with the new editor ____________________________________________ tier 1 units for X: Demon Blade Warrior stats-weak attack,fast attack,large hp appearance-looks like a larger flying ghoul with angel wings with a short sword spells-swarm, gather up at least 5 demon barroughs to cast a spell with a large radius. ___________________________________________ Possesed Hunter stats-slow attack,strong attack, normal hp (500-600) appearance-a human riding a crypt fiend with a lance spells-passive strike,gives a 50% chance to increase attack by 20% requires- [warmill, name to change] more coming...... |

Guest | Hey I posted this in another forum too but if you want to make these two a race heres a way you can do it with minimal model creation/skinning. I just got done playing frozen throne and I can know see how easy it is going to be to make the naga a playable race. All you need is to model and skin 2 or so more buldings and a couple of units. You could probable use the crab creatures as one and for another flying unit you could use that black flying thing. I know you dont want demons as part of your mod but after playing frozen throne all their units are already provided. Light melee could be 2 felhounds one food unit a peice kind of like zerglings in that they come out in pairs . Spellcasters could be the revenants and the bat woman. The new huge demon with the sword could be a special unit (like raiders or seige tanks). The infernal machine could be the main seige unit of the demons. As far as flying in the warcraft universe arent dragons and demons a team so you could use them the whelp as a traditional flying unit the regular one not being able to attack but is upgradable with an attack, defense, and mana aura. Most of the other races have two ally races ie humans-elf-dwarve, for the demons it could be demon-dragon-satyr so the satyrs could be your harvesters, as a race individuality thing you could have it o where you have to build a different type of satyr to harvest lumber, gold and build buildings. The weakness in that could be made up elsewhere. Heavy melee could be the infernal with an upgradable ability to where it automaticaly drops at its rally point stunning nearby units. Heros could be the pit lord, the doom guard seeing as he was originally intended to be a hero by blizzard and the main demon guy would be the third, his level six spell would have to be toned down to where you couldnt use it on heros or town halls. Buildings could be the demon gate as your main building. The new demon gate (in a smaller form) as your barracks. The skull building for your casters. The dragon roost for dragons. As towers you could use the crystals that were used in frozen throne as activation switches in the citadel level, instead of shooting they could have a build aura like the protoss crystals in that buildings have to be built inside them they could be upgradable to have a damage aura for enemies and a regeneration aura for friendly units. Alright Im sure I just wasted my time but if you like the sound of those ideas I could build an example of them in the map editor and send it to you. m8...i really think we should join up... i'm allready doing a ft new race mod thing and after all races done...gonna do a campaign... I allready have some material and 1 member without me... This would speed things up...I'm the modeler... unwraping some stuff right now... i think this would be the best choice... just read the FT RACE MOD thread |
