Seeing how I want this map to be the best defense ever :ggani: I was wondering how much detail I should put into a defense map? I'll post a screeny or too when I figure out a good place to host em.

Depends... If you wanna get a fast game of Defense going.. Go for the bare minimum...

But I fully say work around anything and make it look cosmetically pleasing.. It's not everyday you see a good looking maul that actually looks "natural".. Or a defense which looks "natural"

I certainly feel that terraining is the truest form of map editing, and it can be the most important step.
However, Warcraft 3 mapmaking can frequently included a myriad placeable things, like column doodads, trees, lights, etc., and these can slow down the performance of the map.
So, find your best balance, I say. But don't skimp on making creative or realistic terrain.
