I can't change the starfall animation!!

I have tried nearly everthing to change the starfall animation, but it alwats looks the same.

I have tried changing the "caster" and "target" art with TFT ability editor. When I go into the .txt file and copy starfall there is not art string associated with it! so even if I manually add one to my pasted version still nothing changes...

What am I doing wrong, I know you can change it cause in DoTA there is a blissard spell that works like starfall.

did u try putting it into the map u have to do that

Starfall uses a series of 2 buffs to affect its art.
These entries are from NightElfAbilityFunc.txt

The new WE does not allow you to change buffs, and it doesnt look as if we can create new ones. So, what you will have to do is make a permenant change to all starfall spells. Like in this instance its been changed to infernal birth for an apocolyapse spell.

HOWEVER, there is a new spell that works exactly like starfall, and thats the "monsoon" spell that some creeps have.

So are you saying that I should be able to edit the monsoon one??

how exactly do I change the buff art for starfall?

If I have to change the base starfall, how does the DoTA also have a starfall spell that looks like starfall, a small area single shot aimed starfall, and a starfall that drops blizzards ice?

then u can make a new starfall buffart called B999..

Unfortunately you can't create new buffs.

What about replacing one buff with another?? How is it being done in DoTA then!!!???

Eul changed the buffs on the original spells in dota.
