w3g to avi

i finally found a program that allows the convertion of warcraft replays to a video format. It includes features for setting the frame rate. It is basically a screencapture program with warcraft iii aids. I havent gotten to test this yet but it would be a good way to archive your cinematic works so that when wc3 becomes lost and forgotten you will have a video file of it.8)

You cannot save replays of scenario maps, only melee.

What are you talking about DK? Of course you can save replays of non-melee maps. You just cant rewatch them if you dont have the map and models.;)

yo the file is corrupted do u have another link for it?

well, i did dl it and try it out, now it just keeps giving me errors. as soon as i can get back to the other computer i will post it.:bgrun: And no DK dont even think about it.

I just want to know if it works before I DL it. I had a virus two times before. LoL.

it does work and as far as i know its not giving me a virus.

sorry, i cant seem to find another site with the program. there are programs like this that u can find though google. I will probably do a search later and find one of these programs but until then just try the site again. For some reason the whole file doesnt download, its not that it is corrupt it just wont finish dling.

unless you can convert cinematics to avi, this is completely usless. Too much needed space is wasted, i mean, if u dont have WCIII, why do u want to see a replay anyway?

well, you can save a movie and then show it to your friends or something. theres no point for others to buy WCiii just to watch your cine.

why would u want to...the .avi file would in the end turn out to be like 30 mb

edit:if cotn was converted it would end up being like 80-100 mb
